PISA problems are based on real life context. It can be also enriched with Islamic value integration. The aim of this reseacrh is understanding the effect of posing PISA-like problems to students. The research was carried out qualitatively. The problems which are designed with context of Islamic value integration was posed to students. Then, the students filled in a questionare and have been interviewed about their responses on the problems. The results show that all subject being more motivated in doing a good deed suit on Islamic values. They told that they gained new understanding upon Islamic values from the context presented in the problems. They became aware that they will get reward when they practice an Islamic teaching. Some of them think that the problems are quite difficult and even unfamiliar for them. In the other hand, they feel happy because they finally know that the practice of Islamic teaching their doing so far will be rewarded.Moch. The aims of this study is to determine the internal consistency or reliability coefficient of the developed mathematics reasoning instruments in Junior High School by using generalizability theory multi facet, <em>px(i:r). </em>The instrument are consisting 5 indicator which each of that are valued by each rater<em>. </em>This research method is three-way analysis of variance of multi facet design on G-Study by which the variance comonents are person, rater, item and the interaction between person and items, and the error. Both of G-Study and D-Study design is nested design. The result shows that the coefficient of G-Study is 0.66898. Hence, the next step is using those coefficient for D-Study analysis which lead the conclusion that mathematics reasoning instrument has satisfied the level of observation on large facet and its coefficient is 0.73834 or 74%. To sum up, raters have to use the indicators of reasoning instrument which consist of 1,2,3,4 and 5 components. <p>Geometry is one of school material subject which close with our daily activities. They used geometry form concept to interior and exterior design. The closeness between geometry content and daily activities encourage author to explore how is spatial thinking elementary student. Two kinds of representations are internal representation and external representation. Representation internal include perception, distortion or abstraction and relationships between objects, external representation reveal the product of thought to image, words, table, concrete object, or mathematic symbols used to understand yourself and others.</p><p>Transformation is representation component. Transformation needs object to operate it, and representation needs transformation to create representation. This study aims to design a learning activity to help student learn the concept of area of complex figures. Realistic mathematics approach is used as learning approach with the helps of tangram as manipulative. Design research is employed as research method. The activity is designed based on the result of curriculum analysis and students’ needs. Then, the designed activity is implemented and tested in a real class of Grade 6. Thirty-two students are involved in this research. Analysis retrospective is done in order to know how the designed activity help the students. This research is used to help the fifth grade of elementary school statistic easily through mall conteks. It is based on PMRI which is connected to the learning integrative 2013 curriculum. It is used design research type validation study methodology to prove learning theories. This research involved 24 students os Az-Zahrah Palembang in fifth grade level. The students did some activities like (1) making tally (2) drawing and arranging the clothes store (3) cutting and connecting bar chart (4) deciding the clothes stores which is attended in every floor, re arranging the clothes stores every floor, deciding which mall is less and more every floor.
