Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini merupakan systematic literature review yang bertujuan mengevaluasikan efektivitas konseling kelompok dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa di lingkungan sekolah Indonesia. Metode PRISMA digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi, memilih, dan menganalisis 13 artikel yang telah dipilih secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok tampaknya konsisten menghasilkan hasil yang positif dari berbagai perspektif, termasuk efikasi diri, kecemasan, resiliensi, dan motivasi berprestasi. Konseling kelompok juga membentuk ruang sosial yang aman dan suportif, di mana siswa dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan coping serta membangun identitas diri yang positif. Sementara itu, berbagai teknik konseling kelompok, dari reality therapy ke self-talk atau thought-stopping, MBCT, dan SFBT, berlaku diterapkan dalam konteks masalah siswa. Hasil temuan ini secara empiris menjelaskan konseling kelompok selain efektif secara klinis dan statistik, juga relevan sosial budaya untuk membantu siswa mengatasi masalah kesejahteraan psikologis masa kini. Oleh sebab itu langkah selanjutnya, studi ini merekomendasikan agar konseling kelompok sebagai strategi promotif dan preventif yang lebih diimplementasikan di sekolah Indonesia.

 

Abstract: This article is a systematic literature review that aims to evaluate the effectiveness of group counseling in improving students' psychological well-being in Indonesian school environments. The PRISMA method was used to identify, select, and analyze 13 articles that have been selected thematically. The results showed that group counseling appears to consistently produce positive outcomes from various perspectives, including self-efficacy, anxiety, resilience, and achievement motivation. Group counseling also forms a safe and supportive social space, where students can develop social and coping skills and build a positive self-identity. Meanwhile, various group counseling techniques, from reality therapy to self-talk or thought-stopping, MBCT, and SFBT, are applicable in the context of student problems. These findings empirically explain that group counseling is not only clinically and statistically effective, but also socio-culturally relevant to help students overcome today's psychological well-being problems. Therefore, the next step, this study recommends that group counseling as a promotive and preventive strategy be implemented more in Indonesian schools.
