Bakat sebagai Penggerak Keberhasilan Belajar: Perspektif Pendidikan Tinggi

Penelitian ini menyelidiki peran bakat sebagai faktor determinan dalam proses pembelajaran di pendidikan tinggi. Meskipun bakat diakui sebagai potensi bawaan, implementasinya dalam praktik pendidikan yang personalisasi masih perlu dikaji lebih mendalam. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh bakat terhadap aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik mahasiswa, serta mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan analisis dokumentasi terhadap 25 mahasiswa dan 5 dosen pembimbing akademik. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) bakat memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap pencapaian akademik dan pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa; (2) strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif terhadap bakat individu meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik, kreativitas, dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa; serta (3) pendekatan holistik dalam identifikasi dan pengembangan bakat terbukti efektif menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif. Temuan ini merekomendasikan perlunya integrasi sistem identifikasi bakat dan pengembangan pedagogi personalisasi dalam kurikulum pendidikan tinggi untuk mengoptimalkan potensi akademik mahasiswa secara maksimal
