Analisis Fluktasi Harga Beras Premium Eceran pada Tiga Kabupaten di Pulau Lombok

Abstract

As an agricultural region, West Nusa Tenggara Province, especially Lombok Island, is known as one of the centers of rice production. However, sometimes the dynamics of rice prices, especially premium types, are often a major concern because the price is more expensive than medium rice which can affect people's purchasing power and regional economic stability. Reported from the 2019-2020 population census conducted by the Central Statistics Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province, East Lombok, Central Lombok, and West Lombok Regencies are the three most populous regencies in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Reported from the National Food Agency, the average retail price of premium rice in East Lombok in the period December 2023 to November 2024 is 13,900 rupiah/kg, followed by Central Lombok 14,000 rupiah/kg, then West Lombok 14,300 rupiah/kg. The price of premium rice is influenced by many factors, such as the daily rupiah inflation factor which also affects the production costs of premium rice, as well as environmental factors or the location of the rice planting itself. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant difference in the retail price of premium rice in East Lombok, Central Lombok, and West Lombok Regencies. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the retail price of premium rice between East Lombok, Central Lombok, and West Lombok Regencies.
