PENGUATAN NILAI KARAKTER DAN TANGGUNG JAWAB SISWA MELALUI IMTAQ DI MA HIZBUL WATHAN

Strengthening students’ character and sense of responsibility is an essential aspect of moral education. The Imtaq (faith and piety) program has the potential to serve as a religious foundation that reinforces these values when systematically integrated into school activities. This study aims to analyze how the Imtaq program at MA Hizbul Wathan NW Semaya strengthens students’ character and responsibility. The research employs a qualitative metodhs supported by an analysis of five recent journals related to Imtaq and character education. The findings show that the implementation of Imtaq through habitual worship, Qur’an recitation, religious studies, and structured spiritual guidance contributes positively to the development of honesty, discipline, and responsibility. The main supporting factors include the commitment of teachers and school leaders, a religious school environment, and consistent program management. Therefore, the Imtaq program is proven to be an effective means of strengthening students’ character and responsibility when implemented sustainably and systematically within the school environment.
