Ketahanan Pangan di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya: Peran Perempuan Melalui Kesetaraan Gender

Abstract

Kesetaraan gender memiliki fungsi penting dalam berkontribusi pada pembangunan pertanian berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi dan kontribusi perempuan dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan berkelanjutan di Desa Calingcing, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, studi dokumenter, studi literatur, dan observasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis naratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan di Desa Calingcing tergabung dalam beberapa kelompok tani. Kontribusi yang diberikan oleh kelompok tani perempuan di Calingcing antara lain adalah pengolahan lahan dengan komoditas utama seperti padi dan sayuran. Sebagian besar petani perempuan memegang peranan penting dalam sektor pertanian dan pemenuhan komoditas pangan lokal untuk memperkuat kebutuhan pangan keluarga. Penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya melibatkan beberapa aspek penting yang dapat memperluas pemahaman tentang peran perempuan dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan di Desa Calingcing dan sekitarnya. Selain itu, diperlukan analisis yang komprehensif untuk memahami faktor-faktor sosial, ekonomi, budaya, dan kelembagaan yang mempengaruhi partisipasi perempuan dalam kegiatan pertanian dan pengelolaan pangan. Faktor-faktor ini mencakup akses terhadap sumber daya seperti lahan, modal, dan pelatihan, peran gender dalam masyarakat desa, dan norma sosial yang dapat membatasi atau mendorong partisipasi perempuan dalam ketahanan pangan.
