Focus and Scope
Hamzanwadi Journal of Science Education (HiJaSE) publishes scholarly papers that concentrates on science teaching and learning in school settings ranging from early childhood to higher education as well as workplace and informal learning, which are related to science education. Hence, it purposes to link research with practice by providing information, ideas, opinions and insights. As an national journal, the HiJaSE welcomes contributions from any region in Indonesia, which explains their national contexts and associates the significance of their work with a national readership.
In looking for research to publish, the HiJaSE seeks manuscripts that advance our knowledge in science education research rather than reproducing what we have already known. Thus, the HiJaSE is also interested in producing valid and trustworthy research that covers new capabilities of science learning/teaching and innovative practices in science learning/teaching. The HiJaSE especially emphasizes research in educational practice, and educational realities in systems, schools, and universities.
