Abstract

This research aims to know the shape of the cultural values of the past who have different cultural values that led to the current conflict or contradiction of culture through the novel Legenda Lalu Dia dan Lala Jines By H. Muchsin Hamim. The results of this study make it clear that the value of culture in the novel Legenda Lalu Dia dan Lala Jines By H. Muchsin Hamim still are traditional and have different with the cultural values present, fade and cultural values of the past due to the influence of the development of the times and society wants a change. The change occurred from the value of tradition, habit, even traditional games society.
