ANALISIS KINERJA GURU IPS PADA PENGIMPLEMENTASIAN KURIKULUM 2013 DI SMP NEGERI 1 AIKMEL

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the performance of Social Studies Education (SSE) teachers, to reveal  the performance of  SSE teachers in  2013 curriculum implementation, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of SSE teachers’ performance  in  2013 curriculum implementation at State Junior High School  1 Aikmel in the school year 2018/2019. This research adopted descriptive-qualitative approach. Result show that the performance of SSE teachers have not been optimal in  developing learning instruments, i.e. lesson plan and syllabus, learning implementation, and closing in learning; the perspective of learners and teaching peers  concerning SSE teacher’  has been decreasing and this has provided impact on the lowering interest of learners as education service learners in studying SSE, the conclusion is SSE teachers’ performance in 2013 curriculum implementation are that  SSE teachers have found difficulty in performing attitude assessment, i.e. in terms of competence holistically describing  attitude domain, skill, and knowledge; less time allocation has made SSE teachers are overwhelmed in time management during teaching learning in the class.
