Pengembangan Media Virtual Reality Geopark Kebumen dalam Pembelajaran IPA untuk Menguatkan Karakter Konservasi Siswa MI

Abstract

Geopark Kebumen telah ditetapkan oleh UNESCO menjadi Global Geopark (UGGp). Geopark Kebumen yang dikenal sebagai Mother Earth of Java menjadi salah satu kawasan geologi paling penting di Indonesia. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis Virtual Reality (VR) Geopark Kebumen untuk menguatkan karakter konservasi siswa di MIN 1 Kebumen. Penelitian ini adalah jenis R&D dengan model ADDIE. Pengembangan media VR divalidasi oleh ahli yang terdiri dari ahli media, ahli materi, dan praktisi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) media pembelajaran VR Geopark Kebumen mendapatkan hasil validasi dari ahli media sebesar 3,83 yaitu masuk kategori sangat baik; 2) hasil validasi dari ahli materi dan praktisi adalah sebesar 3,80 dan 3,83 masuk kategori sangat baik; 3) hasil kepraktisan produk berdasarkan respon siswa sebesar 88,11%; 4) uji implementasi menghasilkan bahwa media VR Geopark Kebumen mampu menguatkan karakter konservasi siswa dengan profil sebanyak 50% siswa memiliki karakter konservasi yang mulai berkembang, sebanyak 33% siswa telah memiliki karakter konservasi yang berkembang (baik), dan sebanyak 17% siswa kurang memiliki karakter karakter konservasi.
