Abstract

This study aims to improve basic locomotor running skills with various variations of running motion using various types of simple games. The strategy in this classroom action research is carried out through 2 cycles and in each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. As for activating students in this study, researchers used exercises provided to students in large groups and small groups. The subject of this class action research were grade IV students at 02 Lego Kulon Elementary School, Kasreman Subdistrict, Ngawi District, 2019/2020, 20 students with details of 12 female students and 8 male students The Class Action Research Method was begun with planning, implementing actions, observing and evaluating actions, and reflecting, and so on until the expected improvement or improvement is achieved. The results of the study on the value of the Core Competency I attitude (Spiritual Attitude) for 20 students, in the first cycle = 65% or 13 students, and in the second cycle learning = 85% or 17 students, and it can be concluded up 20% or 4 students. In the Core Competency II attitude value (Social Attitude), in the first cycle = 60% or 12 students, and in the second cycle learning = 85% or 17 students, and it can be concluded that learning increased by 20% or 5 students. In the Core Competency III attitude value (Knowledge Aspect) for 20 students, in cycle I = 60% or 12 students, and in cycle II learning = 80% or 16 students, and it can be concluded that it increased by 20% or 4 students. On the Core Competence IV attitude value (Skills Aspect) for 20 students, in the first cycle = 65% or 13 students, and in the second cycle learning = 85% or 17 students, and it can be concluded an increase of 20% or 4 students.
