Abstract

Physical condition is a very important component in conducting sports activities both in the form of achievement or learning. Strength is a dominant component in sports activities such as basketball, soccer, volleyball and selfdefense. Basketball is one of the dominant sports using strength biomotor components, both arms and legs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Tricep Dips and Triceps kickback training on increasing strength of arm to support one technique aimed at getting points aimed at female basketball athletes. This research is a "quantitative" research method with quasi-experimental techniques, research carried out rigorously to find out the cause and effect between variables. Data analysis techniques in this study were to test multiple normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis can be seen that the mean results of the triceps dips group for an increase in strength of arm were an increase in the pre-test (7.25) and post-test (14,75). In the triceps kickback group for increased strength of arm from pre-test (11) and post-test (12.5). The control group had a mean increase in strength of arm from the pre-test (10.5) and post-test (10.5).
