Poor underhand passing skills are often found in teenage volleyball players, including those at the AVBC Academy in Malang, presumably due to a lack of agility in positioning the body quickly and accurately. This study aims to analyze the effect of agility training on improving the underhand passing skills of 15-year-old volleyball players. The method used was an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 15 athletes selected by total sampling. The research instrument was a Wall Underhand Passing Test that had been validated by experts. The agility training program was carried out for 6 weeks with a frequency of 3 sessions per week, covering exercises such as shuttle runs, ladder drills, and reaction drills. The results showed an average increase in underhand passing scores from 40.93 (pretest) to 50.07 (posttest) with a difference of 9.14 points. The paired sample t-test statistical test produced a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference. The conclusion of this study is that agility training has a significant effect on improving the underhand passing ability of youth volleyball athletes, so it can be integrated into training programs to improve basic technical skills more effectively and measurably.
