Validasi Silang Test Kebugaran Pelajar Nusantara (TKPN) Dengan Test Kebugaran Siswa Indonesia (TKSI) pada Sekolah Dasar Usia 9-12 Tahun (Fase C)

The lack of clarity regarding the equivalence between the Nusantara Student Fitness Test (TKPN) and the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (TKSI) is a problem in assessing the physical fitness of elementary school students. This study aims to analyze the relationship and differences in fitness measurement results using these two instruments in students aged 9-12 years. The method used was quantitative with a correlational descriptive approach. The sample consisted of 149 elementary school students in Jonggat District who were selected purposively. Data were collected through the TKPN and TKSI applications, then analyzed using Pearson's correlation test and the Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed no significant relationship between TKPN and TKSI scores (r = -0.153; p = 0.062). In addition, a statistically significant difference was found between the scores of the two tests, with an average difference of 50.34 points (p < 0.001). The conclusion of this study is that TKPN and TKSI cannot directly replace each other because they measure different aspects of fitness. TKPN focuses on health-related fitness, while TKSI emphasizes skill-related fitness. The implication is that the selection of instruments must be tailored to the specific objectives of physical fitness measurement.
