Komparasi Model Pembelajaran Tradisional dan Kooperatif Terhadap Pengembangan Keterampilan Bermain Futsal

This study was motivated by the dominance of traditional learning models in futsal extracurricular activities, which are considered less effective in developing tactical aspects and teamwork. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of traditional learning models with Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative models in improving futsal skills holistically. The research method used a pretest-posttest control group experimental design with a sample of 20 students randomly divided into control and experimental groups. The research instrument used the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI), which has been tested for validity (Aiken's V = 0.87) and reliability (ICC = 0.91). The intervention was conducted for 6 weeks with a frequency of 2 meetings per week. The results showed that both learning models significantly improved futsal skills, but the TGT model proved to be superior with an N-Gain value of 0.62 (moderate category) compared to the traditional model which was only 0.28 (low category). Statistical analysis revealed significant differences in final skills (p = 0.000) and learning effectiveness (p = 0.000) between the two groups. The conclusion of this study recommends the TGT model as a more optimal approach for comprehensive futsal skill development, particularly in the aspects of tactics and teamwork, so that it can be adopted in futsal extracurricular learning in secondary schools.
