Pengaruh Discovery Learning Model Terhadap Keterampilan Gerak Dasar Sepakbola

This research aimed to assess the impact of the discovery learning model on the fundamental movement skills of football students in grade X at SMA Negeri 1 Telagasari. In this research, the writer employed a quantitative method. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Telagasari, choosing one class as a sample, specifically class X.5, consisting of 41 respondents from a total population of 497 in grade X. The sampling method applied in this study was cluster random sampling. The study employed a pre-experimental design featuring a one-group pretest-posttest approach. This study consisted of three phases: pretest, intervention, and posttest. This study employed a fundamental movement skills football testing tool. The findings of this research indicated a notable rise in the average scores before and after treatment, with an average pretest score of 58.11 and a posttest average of 77.26. The findings from the Paired Sample T-Test hypothesis testing based on the data collected in this study revealed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, denoting a notable effect between the mean pre-treatment and post-treatment scores. It can be concluded that applying the Discovery Learning Model notably enhanced basic football movement skills in football education for tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Telagasari
