Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the basic football technical skills of players at SSB Bintang Kejora. The core problem addressed was the limited objective information on players’ passing, dribbling, and shooting profiles for designing data-based training priorities. This quantitative descriptive study used secondary football skill-test data from 21 players. The data collection document contained passing score, dribbling time, shooting execution time, and shooting score. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, coefficient of variation, T-score transformation, and internal norm-based categorization. The results showed a mean passing score of 6.48 ± 2.04, dribbling time of 13.96 ± 1.76 seconds, shooting time of 1.29 ± 0.27 seconds, and shooting score of 3.52±1.50. The overall skill index placed 52.4% of players in the moderate category, 42.9% in the good category, and 4.8% in the very good category. At the component level, passing was dominated by the moderate category (47.6%), dribbling by the good category (38.1%), shooting time by the good category (38.1%), and shooting score by the good category (61.9%), although 38.1% of players remained in the low shooting-score category. These findings indicate that SSB Bintang Kejora players generally have moderate-to-good basic technical skills, while passing consistency and shooting accuracy should be prioritized in future training programs.
