Penerapan Metode Teaching At The Right Level (Tarl) dalam Meningkatkan Teknik Dasar Passing Sepak Bola

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) method in improving basic soccer passing techniques among students at MTS Malaka. The study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles, with MTS Malaka students as the research subjects. Each cycle consisted of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The instruments used included a psychomotor test to measure passing skills, a cognitive test to measure understanding of theory and tactics, and an affective observation sheet to assess students’ motivation, cooperation, and self-confidence. The results showed a significant improvement in all three assessment aspects. In the psychomotor aspect, there was an increase from 28.12% in Cycle I to 87.5% in Cycle II. The cognitive aspect improved from 43.75% to 90.62%, and the affective aspect improved by an average of 25%. These improvements demonstrate that the TaRL approach, combined with the Small-Sided Games model, is effective in enhancing students’ soccer passing skills.
