Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Touristic Studies undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. The editorial team initially assesses each submission to ensure its relevance, originality, and alignment with the journal’s scope. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then reviewed anonymously by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript's quality, methodological soundness, clarity, and contribution to tourism knowledge. The review process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks. Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will decide to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript. Authors are notified promptly and are allowed to revise their work when necessary. All communications during the review process are confidential. The editorial team ensures transparency, fairness, and academic rigor throughout the process to maintain the quality and credibility of publications.
