Keefektifan Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok Melalui Aplikasi Digital Aku Pintar Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Dan Bakat Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Jember

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services through the digital application "Aku Pintar" in enhancing students' interests and talents. Interests and talents are aspects in developing students' self-potential, but they are often not optimally explored due to limitations in guidance services provided in schools. The current generation is very familiar with technology, making digital-based approaches a relevant and adaptive choice. This study employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research used a quasi-experimental method involving 2 student groups: an experimental group that received guidance counseling services through the digital application "Aku Pintar" and a control group that received conventional services. The guidance counseling services conducted through the "Aku Pintar" Application proved effective in enhancing students' interests and talents, and can serve as an innovative alternative in school guidance counseling services. The research subjects were eighth-grade students who demonstrated needs for interest and talent development. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets were administered before and after the intervention to measure changes in students' understanding and awareness of their self-potential. The English abstract is written following the content of the Indonesian abstract. The writing format is the same as the Indonesian abstract format, using proper and correct English.
