Article Writing Code of Ethics

  1. The author is responsible for the overall content of the article which includes methods, analysis, calculations and details.
  2. The author immediately responds to comments made by peer review professionally and in a timely manner.
  3. Authors should inform editors if they retract their paper.
  4. The authors describe limitations in this study.
  5. The author respects the publisher if the submitted writing, for one reason or another, is not published.
  6. The author informs the paper editor who is part of a phased, multidisciplinary research and different perspectives.
  7. The author makes a statement that the paper submitted for publication is original, has never been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of submitting it to another publisher.
  8. If there is an error in the paper, the author must notify the editor or publisher immediately.
  9. The use of material from other publications that are copyrighted, must be given written permission and gratitude.
  10. The author refers to the work of others who are appropriately quoted and citations used in the paper.
  11. When delivering new discoveries or improving discoveries, the author should mention the previous work, researcher/author/founder.
  12. Authors are not allowed to provide a bibliography of the publication if they do not read the publication.
  13. If requested, the authors prepare evidence that the research has met the ethical requirements of the research including field notes.
  14. The author responds if there are comments or feedback after the paper is published.

Plagiarism Policy

Which are included in plagiarism as follows:

  1. Refer to and/or quote terms, words and/or sentences, data or information from sources without citing sources in citation records and/or without adequately stating the source.
  2. Refer to or quote random terms, words or sentences and information from sources without citing the source in the citation record or without adequately stating the source.
  3. Use ideas, opinions, views or theories without adequately stating the source.
  4. Formulate your own words or sentences from the source of words or phrases, ideas, opinions, views, or theories without adequately stating the source.
  5. Submit scientific works produced or published by others as a source of scientific work without adequate disclosure.

Plagiarism Checking

The editor checks plagiarism 2 times, namely:

  1. Submission process: The article is checked using Plagiarism Checker X after the author submits the article and before the article is reviewed by the reviewer.
  2. Before publication: The article is checked again using iThenticate after the article is declared worthy of publication and done before the article is published.

Penalty

If the author is proven to duplicate, fabricate, falsify, plagiarism, or publish one manuscript in two or more different journals then the author is sanctioned in the form of revocation of articles, cancellation of publications, authors become black-list of Jurnal SeBaSa: Journal of Indonesian Language and Literature Education.
