The review process in the journal SeBaSa: Journal of Indonesian Language and Literature Education is carried out by involving authors, editors, section editors, and reviewers. The incoming manuscript is first checked by the editor. If the article meets the focus and scope and writing guidelines (according to the template) that are appropriate, it will be sent to the editor section after it is declared feasible, then the manuscript will be submitted to the reviewer to be assessed for the content / substance and novelty of the manuscript findings.

If the manuscript does not meet the template, it will automatically be rejected by the editor before being sent to the editor section. Each manuscript will be examined by a maximum of two reviewers (blind reviewers) for 8 weeks with the criteria for manuscript assessment as stated on the assessment form for reviewers.
