Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. The ABSYARA journal accepts articles from Community Service in Education, Science, and Technology that have never been published.
  2. Manuscripts are sent through the OJS page of the ABSYARA journal.
  3. To SUBMIT article manuscripts, each author must have an account in the ABSYARA journal. If you do not have an account yet, the author must register first through the REGISTRATION menu or HERE. After having an account, the author can log in on the available login form or HERE.
  4. The article manuscript was written using Microsoft Word, using A4 paper with top, bottom, left, right, 2.5 margins.
  5. ARTICLES MUST ACCORD TO THE TEMPLATES THAT HAVE BEEN PROVIDED. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE TEMPLATES HERE
  6. THE SUBMITTED FILE IS NOT MORE THAN 2MB
  7. Articles are written in Indonesian or English, with Times New Roman font format, 12pt, line spacing 1.15 spaces, left and right-aligned (Justify), each paragraph indents to the right about five taps (1 TAB)
  8. Systematics of writing research results: TITLE, AUTHOR IDENTITY (Name, Email, Institution), ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, IMPLEMENTATION METHOD, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, AUTHOR'S STATEMENT, and REFERENCES
  9. TITLE: no more than 14 words, using Times New Roman font, font size 18pt, Bold, align, or Center position, and the title must describe the service activity.
  10. Author Identity: full name without an academic degree (if there is more than one author, then all authors' names are included along with the institution of origin of each author) using Times New Roman with font size 12 pt, and in bold. While the email listed is only the email of the first author or the author of correspondence.
  11. ABSTRACT: for articles in Indonesian, the abstract is written in Indonesian and English. If the article is in English, the abstract is only in English. It consists of 150-250 words, Times New Roman font, 10pt, one space, align left and right (Justify), only consists of 1 paragraph. They are included with keywords consisting of 3-7 words or phrases separated by a comma (,) and written sequentially according to the alphabet.
  12. INTRODUCTION: at least contains the research issues, responses to issues, previous studies, research novelties, and research objectives. All sections in this introduction are presented in an integrated manner in paragraphs without writing subtitles.
  13. METHOD OF IMPLEMENTATION: describe the time and place where the activity is carried out and its implementation procedures, such as all materials, methods, approaches, and implementation procedures that are written concisely and clearly
  14. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: contains an explanation of the activity results and a discussion of the results of the activity carried out.
  15. Conclusion: This section is written descriptively without numbering or bullets. Conclusions describe the answers to research questions and summarise the expected findings in the objectives.
  16. AUTHOR'S STATEMENT: a statement about the article that has never been published in any journal
  17. References: All references referred to in articles from various primary sources (scientific journals and accounting for at least 80% of the bibliography), published in the last ten years. Each article contains at least ten reference bibliographies. How to refer to articles and write a bibliography following the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition
  18. Citations, tables, and figures follow the APA style
  19. We recommend using the Reference Manager in managing references and citations such as Mendeley, EndNote, and others.
  20. Avoid duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.
  21. The author attaches an Ethical Clearance Statement at the 4th stage of the article submitting process.
  22. All things related to licensing of citations or others related to intellectual property rights carried out by the author, including the legal consequences that may arise because of it, are the full responsibility of the author.
