Analisis Teknologi Smartphone dalam Mendukung Kegiatan Akademis di Universitas Hamzanwadi Menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model

Abstract


Penggunaan smartphone sudah banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat, terutama di kalangan mahasiswa. Kurang efektifnya pemanfaatan smartphone dalam menunjang kegiatan akademis di kampus, perlu dilakukan analisis dari penerimaan pengguna teknologi smartphone tersebut menggunakan kosenp Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: 1) mengetahui pengaruh perceived usefulness dan perceived ease of use terhadap attitude toward using, 2) mengetahui pengaruh perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, dan attitude toward using terhadap actual technology use. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan metode survei yang dilaksanakan di Universitas Hamzanwadi dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 3.549 orang dan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 97 orang dengan menggunakan cluster sampling sebagai metode yang digunakan untuk  pengambilan sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan SEM. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh perceived usefulness dan perceived ease of use terhadap attitude toward using (ρ>0.05), serta adanya pengaruh perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, dan attitude toward using terhadap actual technology use (ρ>0.05) dalam menggunakan teknologi smartphone sebagai media pendukung kegiatan akademis.
