Nahda Medical Journal (NMJ) accepts manuscripts within the following scope:

1. Clinical Medicine
Diagnostic studies, management, and clinical outcomes in various fields of medical specialization, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics-gynecology, and other clinical disciplines.
2. Medical Education
Curriculum, teaching methods, educational evaluation, faculty workload and development, clinical competencies, as well as competency-based learning innovations in medical education institutions, including the context of newly established medical schools.
3. Public Health and Epidemiology
Determinants of population health, communicable and non-communicable diseases, health promotion, and health issues specific to island and rural areas.
4. Family Medicine and Primary Care
Primary health care services, continuity of care, and community-based health service models.
5. Medical Ethics, Health Law, and Policy
Aspects of medical practice law, clinical ethics, healthcare governance, and national and regional health policies.
6. Medicine and Islamic Values
Integration of Islamic values in medical practice and education, Islamic bioethics, and health studies from the perspective of pesantren.
7. Maternal and Child Health, Nutrition, and Reproductive Health
Research in accordance with the priority health needs of the region.
8. Clinical Pharmacology and Basic Biomedical Sciences
Translational research relevant to clinical practice.
