Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Nahda Medical Journal

Review Model: Double Blind Peer Review

The review process of NMJ is a double blind journal. Manuscripts are reviewed anonymously by at least two independent reviewers selected by the Editors.

The internal procedures of NMJ ensure that this standard is also maintained for all articles authored by members of the Editorial Team.

Reviewers' comments are also sent anonymously to the corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses.

Review Period

All reviewers are required to complete their evaluation within four weeks under the monitoring of the NMJ staff.

On some occasions, the review process may take longer if reviewers need more time to complete their evaluation.

Unresponsive Reviewers

If no assigned reviewer responds to the manuscript, the manuscript will be returned to the author with the option to either provide new reviewer recommendations or withdraw the submission.

These options ensure a fair and timely review process while maintaining the quality and integrity of our publications.
