Nahda Medical Journal

Nahda Medical Journal (NMJ) publishes peer reviewed articles in basic medical research, clinical research, community research, case report/series, review article, and brief communication.

All manuscripts must be submitted through online submission and go through the peer review process as mentioned in another section.

NMJ also has other sections such as editorial, correspondence, and commentary which are not peer-reviewed.

1. Editorial

This section is limited to NMJ editors and covers relevant issues, changes, or news regarding the journal and its editorial management, content, or policies. The Editorial section is not peer-reviewed.

2. Original Article

This section comprises basic medical research, clinical research, and community research. This includes typical original articles, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. It is open for submission and will be peer-reviewed.

Basic medical research covers in vitro research or animal studies. Clinical research covers studies done in human subjects. Community research covers studies done in the community and related to health policy.

3. Case Report / Series

This section is open for submission and will be peer-reviewed. It covers case reports and case series.

A case report should be interesting and described in detail of a single case including sufficient follow-up. Case series should consist of equal to or more than 3 cases and have ethical clearance.

4. Review Article

This section is open for submission and will be peer-reviewed. It includes narrative reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses that demonstrate novelty and provide meaningful contributions to the medical field.
