Abstract

This paper explores the concept of demarcation of the philosophy of science through linguistics discourse towards modern literature. Demarcation refers to the effort of the distinguish between legitimate scientific knowledge and that which is not, emphasizing the importance of falsification in testing the validity of theories or interpretations. In linguistics view, this concept is applied to assess relevant interpretations and distinguish them from pseudo-literary interpretations. Modern literature dynamically challenges the boundaries of interpretation through multivocality and the complexity of meaning, creating intellectual challenges that require readers to think critically and creatively. Through qualitative approach by focusing on content analysis, this reflection asserts that through the linguistics view of modern literature is not merely an art form but also an evolving intellectual arena, enriching readers' understanding of meaning and the limits of interpretation.
