Abstrak

Pendidikan di era modern telah berkembang menjadi lebih dari sekadar penyampaian materi, bertujuan mengembangkan potensi siswa secara menyeluruh. Guru-guru SMP di Lombok Timur tidak hanya berperan sebagai pengajar tetapi juga sebagai pendorong utama dalam pertumbuhan akademik siswa. Penulisan ilmiah berkualitas penting dalam mengembangkan keterampilan analitis siswa. Namun, masih ada kesenjangan dalam pemahaman guru tentang alat modern seperti Mendeley Reference Manager yang dapat mendukung proses ini. Mendeley membantu mengorganisir dan merujuk sumber-sumber secara efisien serta memfasilitasi kolaborasi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang penggunaan Mendeley melalui pelatihan. Pelatihan berlangsung selama tiga hari, dari 20 hingga 23 Mei 2020, di Ruang Microteaching Universitas Hamzanwadi Selong. Metode pelatihan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru. Partisipasi aktif ditunjukkan oleh 85% peserta yang mampu menggunakan fitur dasar Mendeley, sementara 75% berhasil membuat daftar pustaka otomatis. Selain itu, 90% peserta menyatakan bahwa pelatihan ini meningkatkan efisiensi penulisan mereka. Evaluasi juga mengungkapkan bahwa beberapa peserta telah menghasilkan karya ilmiah berkualitas yang siap dipublikasikan di jurnal nasional. Pelatihan ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan alat modern seperti Mendeley dapat meningkatkan kualitas penulisan ilmiah guru, mendukung pengembangan profesionalisme, dan memberikan dampak positif dalam pendidikan.
