Archiving Policy

Edumatic: Jurnal Pendidikan Informatika is committed to ensuring long-term access to all published articles. To maintain the sustainability and accessibility of content, we implement the following archiving policy:

1. Digital Archiving System

All articles published in Edumatic: Jurnal Pendidikan Informatika are stored in a secure and reliable digital repository to ensure long-term access. We collaborate with third-party digital archiving services, such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) or CLOCKSS, to support distributed storage that protects content from the risk of data loss.

2. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

All articles in Edumatic: Jurnal Pendidikan Informatika are also archived through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a free preservation service for journals based on Open Journal Systems (OJS). This ensures that articles remain available online in the long term, even if the journal website experiences disruptions.

3. Institutional Repositories

Edumatic: Jurnal Pendidikan Informatika also allows published articles to be stored in the authors' institutional repositories. This includes university or research institution repositories, to increase the visibility and accessibility of scientific works.

4. Archiving on Indexing Portals

All articles are also archived on recognised journal indexing platforms, which can be indexed in various national and international databases (DOAJ, Dimensions, Google Scholar, GARUDA, etc.), allowing users to access articles even if the main journal website is inaccessible.

5. Periodic Data Backups

We regularly back up data for all published articles. This backup ensures that all content can be accessed again in the event of data loss or technical disruptions.

6. Article Retraction

If an article needs to be retracted after publication for any reason, an official announcement will be made on the journal's website, and the metadata of the retracted article will remain available to ensure a clear record of the article.
