About the Journal

Jurnal Elemen of Mathematics Education Study Program, which was later designated under the name of Jurnal Elemen (e-ISSN: 2442-4226), is one of the accredited mathematics education journals (SINTA 2) by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The Jurnal Elemen welcomes scientific articles of research or theoretical studies (invited authors) in mathematics education.

All submitted articles shall never be published elsewhere and shall not be considered for other publications. The Jurnal Elemen is published by Universitas Hamzanwadi in collaboration with the Indonesian Mathematics Educators Society (I-MES), published twice a year in January and July.

All published articles in Jurnal Elemen feature a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) with a DOI Prefix: 10.29408 by Crossref and have been indexed by several indexing institutions, such as DOAJDimensionsGARUDAGoogle Scholaretc.

Jurnal Elemen is a scientific publication in the sense that the only ones with scientific merit are accepted manuscripts that have never been published. The review process involves the author, editor, section editor, and reviewer. The editor first checks every submitted manuscript to see if it meets the focus, scope, guidelines for authors, and similarity check (should be below 20% in total and below 3% in each item). The manuscript is continued to the reviewer to review the content of the manuscript. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author if not meet the criteria above.

Each manuscript will at least be examined by two reviewers (a single-blind review), hopefully in 20–60 days. Editors will decide on article acceptance according to the reviewer's comments. The articles sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor immediately. The revised article returned later than 20 days will be considered a new submission. The revised article can be sent to the editorial through the Online Submission Interface.
