Abstract

Transformasi pembelajaran untuk membantu siswa menguasai keterampilan abad 21 membutuhkan perubahan peran guru dalam pembelajaran. Dalam realitasnya, banyak guru menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam melaksanakan perannya ketika menerapkan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sebagai wujud transformasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeskplorasi masalah yang dihadapi guru ketika menerapkan model PBL. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan guru peserta Pendidikan Profesi Guru Dalam Jabatan (PPG Daljab) sebagai subyek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dengan dokumentasi, observasi, dan focus group discussion. Data dianalisis dengan metode constant comparative untuk menemukan kategori permasalahan yang dihadapi guru. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa guru mengalami berbagai miskonsepsi yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan perannya sebagai perancang pembelajaran, pembimbing belajar bagi siswa, dan evaluator pembelajaran. Miskonsepsi itu berkaitan dengan konstruksi masalah yang disajikan kepada siswa, pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) sebagai panduan belajar siswa, serta penerapan siktaks PBL dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru diberikan kesempatan yang lebih banyak untuk belajar menerapkan pembelajaran inovatif melalui berbagai wadah yang tersedia seperti PPG Daljab dan KKG.
