Authorship Criteria
Edumatic: Jurnal Pendidikan Informatika recognizes authorship only for individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research process and manuscript preparation. All authors listed in the manuscript must have contributed significantly to the conception and design of the study, development of the research methodology, implementation of the research, data collection and analysis, interpretation of findings, or other essential intellectual aspects of the study.
In addition to contributing to the research process, each author must participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising the article for important intellectual content. All authors are required to review and approve the final version of the manuscript before publication and accept responsibility for the integrity of their contributions, including the accuracy of data, validity of analysis, ethical conduct of the research, and overall quality of the published article.
Individuals who only provide administrative assistance, technical support, funding, access to facilities, or general supervision without making substantial intellectual contributions should not be listed as authors. Such contributions may be recognized in the Acknowledgements section. The order of authorship should be determined collectively by all authors based on their level of contribution to the research and manuscript development. Any changes to the authorship order or author list after manuscript submission must be approved by all authors and communicated to the editorial team with a clear justification.
To promote transparency and accountability in authorship, Edumatic: Jurnal Pendidikan Informatika encourages authors to provide an Author Contribution Statement based on the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT). Authors may specify their contributions through roles such as Conceptualization, Methodology, Formal Analysis, Data Curation, Investigation, Writing – Original Draft Preparation, Writing – Review & Editing, Visualization, Supervision, and Project Administration.
This authorship policy aims to ensure that all individuals listed as authors have made meaningful academic contributions and are accountable for the integrity of the research. The policy supports ethical, transparent, and responsible scholarly publishing practices.
