Conflict of Interest

Edumatic: Jurnal Pendidikan Informatika requires all authors, reviewers, and editors to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence or be perceived to influence the objectivity, integrity, and transparency of the research and publication process.

A conflict of interest refers to any financial, professional, personal, institutional, or other relationships that could affect the interpretation, evaluation, or decision-making process related to a manuscript. Such conflicts may include, but are not limited to, financial support, research funding, employment relationships, consultancy arrangements, personal relationships, academic competition, institutional affiliations, or other forms of association that may create bias or perceived bias.

Authors are required to disclose all relevant conflicts of interest at the time of manuscript submission. If there are no conflicts of interest, authors must provide a statement confirming that no competing interests exist. Disclosure of conflicts of interest does not necessarily prevent publication; however, transparency is essential to allow editors, reviewers, and readers to assess the research appropriately.

Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest before accepting an invitation to review a manuscript. Reviewers should decline the review assignment if they have personal, professional, financial, or academic relationships with the authors, institutions, or research that could compromise their impartiality.

Editors and editorial board members must also disclose any conflicts of interest related to manuscripts they handle. Editors should not participate in editorial decisions involving authors, institutions, or research topics with which they have a direct conflict of interest. In such cases, the manuscript will be handled by another qualified editor to ensure an independent and fair evaluation process.

Edumatic: Jurnal Pendidikan Informatika is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and academic integrity by ensuring that all potential conflicts of interest are appropriately disclosed and managed throughout the publication process.
