This study aims to describe the movement structure of Betetulak Dance at Mununggal Studio, SMKN 1 Kotaraja, Kotaraja Village, Sikur District, East Lombok. Betetulak Dance is a creative dance adapted from ritual activities of Betetulak in North Marang, particularly carrying dulang, carrying incense, sprinkling water, and throwing empok-empok. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a grounded theory approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with Lalu Hendri Sholeh as the studio supervisor and Husnul Hasanah as the choreographer as the main informants. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and verification/conclusion drawing. The findings show that Betetulak Dance consists of 18 movement motifs, 5 movement phrases, and 3 movement sentences, with two movement transitions between sections. The motifs include temurik dupa, muter ulu, sembah, muter dupa, nyar-nyar, bande dulang, buka jebak, nangkep, nyirah, nangkis, nyede, narung, junjung kepet, osap, kebangru’an and metak, bekelokan, nabur, and nyiram. Movement phrases are developed from motifs, while movement sentences combine phrases into complete periods. The structure demonstrates the relationship between movement form and the ritual activities that inspired the dance and provides a basis for documentation and traditional dance learning.
