Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the service sector, such as welding workshops, still face challenges in order efficiency and service transparency due to manual processes. Most previous studies have only implemented web-based systems without real-time mobile integration. This study aims to develop and test an integrated web-mobile information system application to improve efficiency and clarity of service information. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a Waterfall model, through the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The research subjects consisted of 1 workshop owner, 2 employees, and 10 active customers selected purposively. Our findings are in the form of an integrated web-mobile application that supports service booking, real-time job status tracking, catalogue management, and customer reviews. The test results show that all features are 100% functional, booking time is 32% faster, recording errors have dropped to 0%, and user satisfaction has reached 89%. These findings confirm that cross-platform integration can simplify service flows, improve data accuracy, and provide transparency of information for welding workshop customers. The results show that the developed system can serve as a relevant digital service model for similar SMEs and is effective in improving operational quality and user experience.
