About the Journal
Voices of English Language Education Society (VELES) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research and scholarship in the field of English language education. Published by Universitas Hamzanwadi, Indonesia, VELES provides a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share insights on innovative teaching methods, curriculum development, technology integration, linguistic studies, and a wide range of topics relevant to English language teaching and learning.
VELES publishes three issues annually (April, August, and December) and is indexed in Sinta (Science & Technology Index), Dimensions, Scilit, Google Scholar, Garuda, Journal Stories, One Search, and Base. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license, promoting broad dissemination and responsible reuse. The journal also ensures long-term content preservation through the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archiving systems. Established in 2017, VELES has continued to grow in reputation and scholarly contribution, and is currently accredited with SINTA 2 by the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Higher Education, recognizing its quality and impact within the academic community.
