Publication Fees
Introduction
All readers and authors of VELES journal benefit from unrestricted open access. We firmly believe that unrestricted access fosters global accessibility and utilization, catering to both the professional and scientific communities, as well as the broader public. As access to our journal is free of charge, VELES offsets publication expenses, which include peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and long-term archiving, through the implementation of article processing charges (APCs). These charges are levied on authors, institutions, or funders for each published article.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
After January 1, 2023, all approved articles will be charged "Article Processing Charges" to maintain free access for readers and pay for journal production, online hosting, long-term archiving, and peer review management. This APC is only valid throughout the current calendar year, and the publisher reserves the right to modify it any time. The submitting author is in charge of paying the APC and must attest at the time of submission that, should the article be accepted for publication, s/he will arrange for payment of the APC. No third party may be assigned this task if the publisher has not consented. The article will be invoiced once it is "Accepted" and the APC will not impact the peer review procedure.
For the article accepted as of January 1, 2023:
USD 0.00 (International author)
IDR 1.500.000.00 (Domestic author)
Before submitting, not after acceptance, please assess your ability to secure financing for the Article Processing Charge.
